Course Description 

Course topics include fashion and textile design, illustration, manufacturing, merchandising, marketing, and management. It focuses on understanding the historical development of fashion, with emphasis on the major economic, social, and political events that have shaped the fashion industry since the Industrial Revolution. The Fashion Design program introduces you to the most important influences on fashion marketing and consumer demand.

The course consists of design projects, and lectures exposing students to various approaches to design, illustration and implementation, going onto business issues like trends, segmentation and fashion forecasting.
